It you are like me, I am a Thrifty Shopper! I hunt for sales and bargains. Everyone wants to save money these days so looking for sales it the thing to do. You don't have to go broke to make family happy; just become a smart shopper. One way that you can save is to be creative. Make something nice for those that you love. I enjoy being crafty because it allows me to put that special touch of TLC into my project. If you know how to knit or crochet, then make scarfs and hats for the grands. It gives that personal touch of love and they will always remember that you make it. Pictures frames with your picture in it made especially by your hands is another great gift that is inexpensive. Gift baskets is always another excellent gift to give. Making the gift basket yourself and personalizing it for each individual.
I like making gift baskets! You can find baskets for hardly anything at your local Thrift Store. They you can decorate it and fill it with all sorts of goodies. Remember giving comes from the heart. You can make fruit cakes, Christmas cookies just to name a few. Whatever you make, your grands will appreciate it.
Most stores have a clearance section. Their one can find many inexpensive gifts for family and friends. I like to shop early because I don't like the crowded stores during the holidays. Christmas time should be a wonderful time for all, and not a headache. Remember you don't want your pressure to rise and shopping at the last minute will do it every time. So, I encourage you to shop early this year and every year.
Christmas is the special time for giving. Let the grand kids know the meaning of Christmas and why we celebrate it. This will enlighten them and they will understand meaningful place in our lives. Children enjoy making wonderful gifts to give to their loved ones as well. Help them make gifts for every one. This will be so grand and the fun will be amazing. Sing Christmas Carols while you and the grands are making gifts to give. I enjoy Christmas music and I play it when we are together during the holiday. It gives Christmas that special warmth feeling. Make it festive! Allow the grand kids to help you decorate the around the house and help you cook holiday dinner. Let them wrap gifts and decorate the Christmas tree to bring on that holiday cheer.
